
Today I reflect, and I am reminded of a very special day that I want to celebrate and utilise its notions every single day of the year.
As I have found that when I direct my mind to thoughts of gratitude, it is a practice useful not just for when the festive season is near.
I am reminded that when I can allocate space to be thankful every day, the narrative of my life begins to shift.
And I truly see my reflections altered as I am now not focused on the challenges and am able to help negativity lift.
Creating space for my inner thoughts to dwell on what is good in this life spurs me to also think about how I can share this gift with others.
It becomes not just about myself, but how can I welcome others to the table so we can have community, and now we are wired to need one another.
Gratitude helps me to extend to others as I am not immune to the pain or hardships, but rather, that is what makes me find appreciation.
And this gives me the ability to know what is truly important and valuable in life. As I realise it does my soul good to let thankfulness be my mind's first location.
